Nature is not just for vacations - you are nature.

Walking, running, and hiking are not just for exercise - they are wellness.

Creativity is not just the icing on the cake - it is the cake.

Becoming yourself is not a destination - it is the whole journey.

Helping others is not for a badge - it’s community and connection for life.

“If the path before you is clear, you are probably on someone else’s” - Carl Jung

Exploration is at the heart of my approach in working together. As human beings, we learn about the world by moving and exploring, simultaneously seeking autonomy and connection, using curiosity and creativity to experiment and generate a deeper understanding of the world around us. But over time, the theories that served us during previous phases of life no longer meet our current or future needs and require revision, which can feel daunting and overwhelming. The key with Just Feet Ahead is to seek answers without a predetermined outcome or path as you allow the questions and the journey to guide you, to let go of control, prepackaged solutions, or quick-fix life hacks, and be open to whatever you might discover, such as new and original solutions to your dilemmas.

We will work together to determine what it is you are searching for and how to use the innate power of nature, creativity, movement, self, and human connection to uncover new ways of being and approaching life that become a sustainable, self-led path to growth and change. My role is to use curiosity, insightful questions, intentional challenges (that we agree on), and unconditional acceptance and compassion for you as a unique individual to co-create sessions tailored to you that lead to whatever you're seeking, whether personal insight, growth and change, physical fitness and health, wholeness and restoration, challenging limiting beliefs, or deepening your relationship to yourself, nature, and others.

“What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” - Mary Oliver

Becoming your deepest self, navigating midlife or other life transitions, finding the courage to be more creative and engaged, making true connections during a time of virtual lives and disconnection, deconstructing religion or the disillusionment of the American dream, figuring out how to be a resilient and decent human being in the face of oppressive systems, or taking on new physical challenges and adventures - these and other issues you might face require honest reflection, creative exploration, compassion for self and others, courage, patience with the process, and wisdom from nature and the body in order to find what you're looking for next in life. But the reward for that hard work is a life that is fully and authentically yours.
